Us

Sometimes, I wish I were a child again.

Then, I could run and play

and not have a care in the world.

But, if I were a child again,

I would not have met you.

And without you in my life.

I could not laugh,

I could not sing,

I could not love,

I could not cry.

Then, I think of the times when we are together and...

We are children again.

We run and play

and not have a care in the world.

Except us.
